Mom you raised me to always place value in a hard days work.
You raised me to always value the dollar, and what it means.
Everyday you put in long hours, Sleepless nights, and worrisome afternoons,
Just to make sure I had what I needed, and what I wanted.
Now its time for you to take a break,
To stretch your arms out wide,
Breathe in life, and enjoy all the success and honors you have achieved.
Nevertheless, you should always know one thing,
You can never retire from being the greatest mom in the world.

Bring back the days of old.

During the years of high school, they were most likely engrossed in several things such as rock and roll, paintball, or things of the sort. I will leave out girls since most retirees will have a loving wife and children to complete them.

Nevertheless, puberty days of these retirees have been lived out with much enthusiasm and energy that these fun days of the past will definitely be missed much unless someone brings back all those well remembered days. What better way to do this but to reintroduce them as a retirement gift? This time, a retiree will not have any trouble allocating time and effort to these activities since they have no more obligations with work to stop them from focusing on these leisure activities.
You may want to think of a gift such as an electric guitar for a retiree who has been engaged in a school band during those years, or maybe a rifle to a retiree who has been an enthusiast of the said sport.

Maybe he’s not looking to go that far back in his past, he could be looking forward toward doing something he’s been interested in, but has never had the time to really get into it. Woodworking is a craft that he’s been fascinated with for some time or even the ever so popular automobiles and motorcycles. The macho image that has been suppressed wants to come out and play getting a motorcycle and cruising the neighborhood is something that he didn’t feel comfortable doing with the responsibility of work hanging over his head.
